In a huge and beautiful bicentennial oaktree sits “Le Chene Fou”, which simply translates as “The Mad Oak”.

It is a perfect get-away for a large familyor a group of friends, looking to share in a unique experience together.

The tree-house is a remarkable feat of engineering. There are two tree-houses each with their own private terrace.

Le fou de Roi at 8m, which sleeps 5......

and the "Dame de Coeur" at 10m which sleeps 4 and which has a further private terrace.

Between them, they can accommodate up to 9 people (8 adults and 1 child).

Finally there is one enormous terrace at the highest point, 14 metres high.

The terrace is a great place for an aperitif or to dine with friends and family.

All these areset on three levels within the oak tree.

One of our guests commented - "...it's not so much a tree-house but a tree-village..."

The treehouses of the Chene Fou are hidden away in the corner of our domain giving you privacy and solitude and allowing you to "get away from it all".

There is nothing like Le Chene Fou in all of France!
